Business Networking
Business network design and installation that holds up under a full office
Most office networks were never designed. They grew. A consumer router from the internet provider, a switch added under a desk, a wireless extender for the conference room, and cables run wherever they fit. It works until the office gets busier, then the Wi-Fi drops during video calls, the printer disappears, and nobody can say which cable goes where.
A slow or unreliable network affects everything that runs on top of it: phones, cloud applications, file access, cameras, and payment systems. It is also a security boundary. A flat network with a default firewall configuration lets any compromised device reach every other device in the building. Fixing that properly means treating the network as infrastructure, planned and documented, rather than a collection of boxes.
What the service covers
- Site surveys and network design based on your floor plan, headcount, and the applications you rely on
- Wireless coverage planning and installation, including guest networks kept separate from business systems
- Managed switching with VLANs to separate staff, guest, phone, camera, and device traffic
- Firewall configuration, site-to-site VPNs for multiple locations, and secure remote access
- Structured cabling coordination, rack layout, labeling, and cleanup of existing wiring
- Internet circuit selection and failover planning so one provider outage does not stop work
- Deployments on Ubiquiti and Araknis Networks platforms, chosen to fit the site and budget
What working with us looks like
- 01
Survey and design
We visit the site, measure coverage needs, review existing equipment, and talk through how the space is used. You receive a written design with an equipment list and a clear scope.
- 02
Installation
We stage and configure equipment ahead of time, then install on a schedule that keeps disruption low, including after hours when needed. Cutover is tested room by room.
- 03
Handoff and support
You receive documentation of the network layout, addressing, and credentials. We can continue to monitor and maintain the network as part of managed IT, or hand it off to your team.
Who this is for
This service fits businesses moving into a new office, expanding into an adjacent suite, opening a second location, or simply fed up with a network that cannot keep up. It also suits offices adding VoIP phones or security cameras, both of which expose weaknesses in a network that was never planned.
Frequently asked questions
- Why Ubiquiti and Araknis Networks?
- Both platforms offer centrally managed switching, wireless, and routing at a cost that makes sense for small and mid-sized offices. We are an Ubiquiti Authorized Reseller and an Araknis Networks Gold Partner, and we choose between them based on the site.
- Can you work with the equipment we already have?
- Often, yes. If existing equipment is supported and suitable, we reconfigure and document it. If it is end-of-life or a consumer-grade device, we will explain why replacing it is worth it.
